Nina Ashe
Nina Ashe is a native New Yorker, and a graduate of The High School of Performing Arts and The William Esper Studio. She is a founding member and the Associate Artistic Director of The Hyperion Theatre Project, which has produced several one act and full length plays; sketch comedy; improv; and commedia dell’arte. The company’s most recent endeavor was an Italian tour of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, in which Nina appeared as Hyppolita and First Fairy. The company will be returning to Italy in the summer of 2012 with a production of “Antony and Cleopatra”, in which she will appear in the role of Octavia. Currently, Nina is at work filming her role in the upcoming feature film, “Homecoming”. Other credits include the t.v. pilot “Skels”; HBO’s “Robert Wuhl’s World Tour”; and the musical “Yo Alice”, directed by Maurice Hines. When Nina is not on the road with Plays For Living , performing her roles as Irene and Fran in “People Like Us”, she can be seen performing with her improv troupe, “The Red Tie Mafia” and doing stand up comedy at clubs around New York City.
